President Donald Trump on Wednesday morning retweeted a meme calling for a number of prominent Democrats and law enforcement and intelligence officials to be imprisoned.
Behind text that reads, “NOW THAT RUSSIA COLLUSION IS A PROVEN LIE, WHEN DO THE TRIALS FOR TREASON BEGIN?” the meme features images of special counsel Robert Mueller, Hillary Clinton campaign chair John Podesta, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Hillary Clinton, former Attorney General Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former President Bill Clinton, former FBI Director James Comey, and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, all behind bars.
Notably, Rosenstein continues to serve as Trump’s hand-picked deputy attorney general. Trump appears to be fine with the idea of locking him up anyway.
A number of the officials pictured in the meme were sent bombs in the mail about a month ago by a Trump fan named Cesar Sayoc. Sayoc’s van was emblazoned with a number of right-wing memes not dissimilar to the one Trump retweeted.
Minutes before he retweeted the meme and a number of other wildly inaccurate tweets from “The Trump Train” Twitter account, the president posted a tweet baselessly accusing special counsel Mueller of “viciously telling witnesses to lie about facts” in exchange for “relief.”
While the disgusting Fake News is doing everything within their power not to report it that way, at least 3 major players are intimating that the Angry Mueller Gang of Dems is viciously telling witnesses to lie about facts & they will get relief. This is our Joseph McCarthy Era!

Trump’s anger toward Mueller has seemed to escalate following the special counsel’s announcement on Monday that former Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort had breached his cooperation agreement with the special counsel by lying to investigators.
